The engine was redesigned to deliver enhanced usability, quality and functionality. Colordyne Technology’s 3800 Series UV – Retrofit transitioned the previous technology’s clamshell chassis design into an automated vertical ift system. This change provides users more automated functionality including print positioning and splice detection. Automated maintenance is another feature that can be added to the retrofit print engine during the initial acquisition or as an optional upgrade after installation.
