FuturePrint Community makes a difference

Following our community campaign to raise money for SaveUkraine.org.uk during the last few months, we are really pleased to be able to share with you the fantastic news that the money raised has been used to support the need for medical supplies at the charity’s orphanage in Nadvirna City in the west of Ukraine.

The main project has been to provide non-stop support to the orphanage at Nadvirna. The orphanage which was founded in 1980 provides palliative care to children with neurological disease. 40 orphans live there, including 9 with disabilities and 9 that moved from Eastern part of Ukraine during the war. Teachers, speech therapists, music tutors, nurses and medical specialists work every day to improve quality of life of these children.

With over £2500 raise by the FuturePrint team and from generous donations from the UK Print industry, the SaveUkraine team have financed new window installations in main building, which have been crucial with the difficulties in heating the facility, and have also funded the purchase of medical equipment for the palliative unit to ensure it is fully operational.
