FuturePrint and Pack Summit Speaker Spotlight: Tharstern
FuturePrint’s first hybrid event, the FuturePrint and Pack Summit, is taking place on November 11th at The Bradfield Centre, Cambridge, followed by weekly virtual content output. Ross Edwards, Business Development Manager at FuturePrint partner Tharstern, will be presenting one of the ‘Tech 10’ sessions at the event, talking about how to create an automation culture that drives change using technology.
As run lengths have shortened and production technology has improved, the proportion of admin time for each print job has increased. A bottleneck now exists, and this can only be removed by automating the business processes that take place before production.
The problem? Employees aren’t always on board with their company’s plans for automation, understandably not wanting to do themselves out of a job. The solution? You need to create a culture that sees the value in automation and works in unity to remove these bottlenecks. In this session Ross explains exactly how to go about doing this in your printing or packaging business.
With a team that mostly has a background in either printing or technology, Tharstern has a mission to not only use its MIS technology to help its customers work faster and smarter, but also use its combined knowledge to help its customers lead the way ahead of the competition.
Amanda Newman, Head of Marketing at Tharstern comments: “The printing industry is going through a technological evolution right now, and software plays an increasingly important role in navigating this, so we’re thrilled to be joining forces with FuturePrint to contribute to their initiatives from this perspective.”
