#SeikoOpenWeek2023: Igniting the Inkjet Revolution for Collaborative Solutions and Boundless Printing Possibilities

Seiko Instruments, a leading inkjet printhead manufacturer, is proud to announce the highly anticipated #SeikoOpenWeek2023, taking place from June 20th to 22nd at the Seiko Instruments Knowledge Exchange Centre, situated only 10 minutes from the Frankfurt Main Airport. This event aims to propel the future of digital printing through collaborative solutions and the exploration of new possibilities.

Inkjet technology has the potential to rapidly transform the printing industry, offering unprecedented innovation and opening doors to uncharted territories. Seiko Instruments recognizes the importance of bringing together experts, partners, and end-users to unlock the true potential of inkjet technology. The #SeikoOpenWeek2023 serves as a vibrant platform for industry professionals to gather and delve into the multifaceted world of inkjet, uncovering the elements that contribute to a successful printing experience for the end user, whether in Textile Printing, Signage, Ceramics or Industrial Printing.

With a focus on the human element, this year's event highlights the significance of knowledge sharing on topics such as print quality, sustainability, productivity and profitability. Seiko Instruments has forged partnerships with various stakeholders, including machine manufacturers, ink manufacturers, ink systems manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, pre-coating and post-coating specialists and integrators. Through collaboration with these experts, Seiko Instruments along with People & Technology aim to demonstrate inkjet technology for diverse applications and showcase the possibilities offered by different ink formulations on five separate printing stations.

#SeikoOpenWeek2023 event will feature engaging panel discussions hosted by Frazer Chesterman and Marcus Timson, FuturePrint Directors, involving veterans in the field, sharing their experiences and providing valuable insights into the nuances of inkjet printing. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of inkjet technology and its distinguishing features compared to traditional analogue printing methods. These discussions aim to empower participants, enabling them to navigate the inkjet landscape effectively and seize the opportunities it presents.

The event caters to a diverse audience, welcoming both existing users and newcomers to the industry. Existing users will have the chance to explore new frontiers and discover untapped markets waiting to be digitalized. Newcomers will find a valuable platform to learn about the vast possibilities’ inkjet offers and gain insights from experienced users, foster collaborations and most importantly understand the inkjet ecosystem.

The #SeikoOpenWeek2023’s three-day program will centre around specific themes, each dedicated to exploring inkjet technology in various applications. On Day 1, we will uncover the exciting possibilities of inkjet for textiles, showcasing the potential for fabric printing. Partner presentations on this day will feature Meteor Inkjet Ltd., People & Technology S.L., Tigres GmbH, Zimmer Maschinenbau & Esmalglass Itaca. Day 2 will focus on integration, highlighting the essential components for developing an inkjet printer. Partner presentations on this day will include Global Inkjet Systems Ltd, People & Technology S.L., KAO Chimigraf S.L.U., IST Intech Ltd, and IPrint Institute. Lastly, on Day 3, we will shed light on the advancements and opportunities in inkjet for décor and corrugated printing. Partner presentations on the third day will include IPrint Institute, Lambda Technology GmbH, KAO Chimigraf S.L.U., and Barberan S.A.

Aliasgar Eranpurwala, from Seiko Instruments, emphasizes the foundation of knowledge exchange and collaboration underlying the #SeikoOpenWeek events. By building relationships and leveraging existing expertise, the industry can accelerate time to market and achieve collective success more swiftly.

To be a part of this one-of-a-kind event, interested participants and customers are required to register in advance. Delegates have the opportunity to book a personalized 90-minute slot for a guided tour of the event. These personalised appointments are scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday in the following time slots: 08:45 to 10:15, 10:30 to 12:00, 14:00 to 15:30, 15:45 to 17:15, and 17:30 to 19:00. Participants may also reserve a 30-minute tour of the Seiko Instruments logistics centre, located just 5 minutes away by car, between 10:00 and 13:00.
