Seiko Brings Digital Print Expertise Together at Live Open Week

Seiko is set to hold a technical knowledge sharing event at its new service centre and laboratory near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 19 to 23 July 2021. Attendees will have the opportunity to see a range of digital print technologies in action, covering all components and how they work together.

12 different printing stations will be set up, dedicated to packaging, textiles, ceramics, wood, coding and marking and varnish printing, and at which oil-, UV- and water-based printing is carried out, to meet a range of specific printing needs, using inks from partners including Kao, Nazdar, Siegwerk, Actega, and more.

“Whether for already experienced users or for newcomers, industry-specific technical know-how is needed in the background so that digital printing can be optimally adapted to the respective area of application,” says Stephanie Rohn, Marketing Manager, Seiko. “It requires the interlocking of all relevant components and parameters, such as those of the ink, the print head, the drying device, the electronics and the ink system, like the cogs of a clockwork.

“But once this has happened, it delivers efficient and flexible print results at the highest level.

The best printing results are achieved when problem solutions are viewed holistically, objectively and purposefully, based on trusting cooperation. And this is exactly what we would like to offer you at our open week.”

A choice of time slots are available; 9:00 - 11:00, 11:30 - 13:30 or 14:00 - 16:00, 16:30 – 18:30.

Those interested in attending can send an email to Mrs. Stephanie Rohn stephanie.rohn@seiko-instruments.de with your preferred date and time slot, as well as the intended number of participants.
