New TharsternTV Show Will Help Printing Companies ‘Grow Without Chaos’
MIS software provider Tharstern have launched a new show as part of its TharsternTV platform. The Systemization Show was created to help printing companies get more organized using a concept called Systemization – the creation and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures.
The chat show style programme is hosted by Amanda Newman and Ross Edwards from Tharstern and stars special guest Philip Paul Beyer, author of the book ‘System Busters’ and the founder of Beyer Printing. In the show Beyer shares his experience of systemizing his own printing company, and also reveals his ‘100% System of Cleanliness’, an approach he designed himself to ensure his production facility stayed organised and clean.
“I often discuss the merits of Systemization when I visit customers, so it’s something quite close to my heart,” said Ross Edwards, co-host of the show and Customer Partnership Manager at Tharstern. “Systemization is a great way to share information across a company, and make sure that everyone has access to all the information they need to do their job without asking. And one of the best ways to do this is through technology, especially MIS software, so it’s a natural topic of discussion for us. Systemization and MIS implementation go hand in hand.”
The TharsternTV initiative was launched in February 2020 with a new chat show style approach to Tharstern’s existing webinar programme, but filming was halted a few weeks later by the pandemic. Now the Tharstern team are all back in the studio and have several new programmes planned for release in the coming year, including a show about connected workflows and integration, and another show about MIS implementation projects.
“We’re constantly trying to create content for our customers that helps them deal with their challenges and also shares something new,” says co-host Amanda Newman who heads up the marketing team at Tharstern. “But with TharsternTV we wanted to take that one step further and produce content that’s also entertaining and easy to watch. That’s why the episodes are only around 15 minutes long, include some light hearted, fun segments, and are available on demand - so people can consume the content whenever they have a few minutes spare, come back later and pick up right where they left off.”
Tharstern have also created an eBook to go with the series, for those that prefer to read their educational content instead of watching it.
