Kento Gains New Strategic Partner to Boost Global Expansion

I recently made the trip back to Valencia and met up with Javier Quesada of Kento. It was amazing and inspiring to see the progress they have made in a year and I am delighted to share their news on gaining a major new strategic partner. Congratulations to the Kento team for continued growth and success!

Kento Gains New Strategic Partner to Boost Global Expansion

Kento, the innovative company dedicated to the design and manufacture of printing and converting machinery for corrugated packaging, has announced the entry of a new strategic partner.

Founded in 2020, Kento has revolutionized the industry with the development of its KENTO HYBRID® printer, the world's first solution that combines digital and analog printing technologies on corrugated, with a modular and scalable approach, accessible to integrated and independent companies. This innovative equipment has attracted the attention of global packaging industry leaders, who have shown great interest in Kento's hybrid solutions in response to the growing demand for sustainable packaging and the rise of e-commerce.

Kento, a Spanish company with headquarters in Burriana, North of Valencia, also has a subsidiary in the United States to serve the competitive and growing North American market, and sales teams operating in EMEA and Asia. With machines installed in Europe, North America and Africa, the company is in the process of international expansion, accompanying the modernization and digitalization of the corrugated packaging sector.

This new strategic partner is a Spanish family office linked to an industrial group with extensive experience and international presence and is also present in the ecosystem of Spanish scaleups, promoting projects with great potential in different areas. It is an investor with long-term criteria, committed to companies with a firm commitment to innovation and sustainability, which are key pillars in Kento's strategy. The alliance between the two entities is aligned with Kento's objective of boosting its growth at a global level, in a circular industry such as corrugated packaging, which is increasingly committed to the integration of advanced production technologies.

The strategic partner's entry into Kento's capital will accelerate the development of new solutions. A clear example of this innovative capacity is the recent introduction of the rotary die-cutting module in KENTO HYBRID® printers, a world first in corrugated converting machinery, which enables the printing and finishing of boxes in a single process. This innovative module is now available for customer demonstrations at Kento's facilities.

With this strategic alliance, Kento is positioned to continue leading the transformation of the packaging industry, providing more efficient, sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of the global market.
