Getting to know AGFA inks for use in industrial inkjet

We are pleased to announce that Agfa have joined the 2nd Future Print Virtual Summit as a Content partner and member of FuturePrint. We asked Marc Graindourze to give us a short introduction and to tell us a little about Agfa and their interest in the Industrial Inkjet market and their focus on Inks offerings and their creative applications.

Agfa is a 150+ years old company active in the development, production and supply of imaging consumables and solutions.

During the mid 90’s Agfa started in inkjet, and since then has gradually grown its inkjet activities.

In the world of industrial inkjet printing Agfa is well known for its range of UV inks, for a wide range of applications,  working closely together with the OEMs of inkjet print systems, as well as with the industries, bringing value in production printing. Agfa water based inks are even more focused on high volume applications, for example Agfa water based ink set for printing on décor printing for the production of laminates for floor and furniture.

Consistency is the key word for Agfa. Target is that the print runs show constant quality and performance day by day, linked to Agfa top ink quality by ink design and ink production accuracy.

Agfa has invested in listening to the industry needs and explaining inkjet and ink capabilities. The membership of FuturePrint is a next step to further address the community of industrial inkjet printing and work together on the adoption and growth of inkjet integrated in industrial processes.
