Agfa’s Beasts Designed to Lead the Printing Pack
We had the opportunity to visit the FESPA Global Print Expo in Amsterdam and see Agfa's latest additions to their inkjet printer ‘pack’. It was interesting to see Agfa launch their expanded and rebranded portfolio under the theme ‘Powerful by Nature.’ These new series of printers are named after strong animals, each chosen it seems, to symbolise the printer's unique capabilities, the theme cleverly tying together the idea, that these printers, much like their animal namesakes, are designed to excel in their specific environments.
The Ciervo H3200, a hybrid system based on the reliable Anapurna technology, is a printer that brings together quality and speed, providing a versatile solution for a variety of indoor and outdoor printing tasks. It offers a 3.2-meter print width and CMYKcm + white.
The Bronco H3300 S, a hybrid printer tailored for speed and flexibility, is ideal for a wide array of sign and display jobs. Featuring a 3.3-meter print width it supports CMYKcm + white, with an option for primer. Its field-upgradability from two- to four-roll makes is a sustainable investment, allowing for future enhancements without needing a complete replacement.
The Condor RTR5200 HS, a roll-to-roll printer, is able to handle a wide array of substrates at impressive speeds. Its 5.2-meter print width and CMYKcm + light black, white and varnish options presents a powerful solution in the roll-to-roll market segment.
The Onset Grizzly X3 HS and the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS were also displayed on the Agfa stand. Both printers are impressive, with high speeds and the capability to print with a wide range of colours.
