42 Technology appoints Dr Peter Brown as Chief Commercial Officer

42 Technology (42T) has appointed Dr Peter Brown as its first Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this newly-created role, Peter will now oversee all global sales and business development activities and help drive the company’s expansion across its five industry sectors: consumer, energy, life sciences, medtech and industrial. He also joins the company’s board of directors with immediate effect.

In his role as Director of Industrial, Dr Peter Brown has been instrumental in expanding 42 Technology’s capabilities and securing major client wins in print, packaging and manufacturing innovation. it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Peter joined 42T in 2020 as the company’s first dedicated Head of Manufacturing and Digital Deposition. He was later promoted to Director of Industrial, where he has played a critical role in expanding the team, the company’s capabilities, and securing major client wins in print, packaging and manufacturing innovation. He will continue leading the industrial team for now, alongside his additional responsibilities as CCO.

Peter has spent over 20 years in senior technology and business development roles within the consultancy sector. He has spent much of his career inventing, developing and deploying innovative manufacturing processes on a global scale, and has particular expertise in inkjet technology to deposit functional industrial fluids such as coatings, adhesives, sealants and electronic materials.

His interests outside work include cycling, golf, and Munro bagging (climbing Scotland’s highest mountains), as well as being a parish councillor for Great Shelford, near Cambridge.
