People&Technology 4-part Video Series. Part 2 – Technology & Head Cleaning

This second instalment of the 4-part series focuses on People&Technology’s advancements in printhead cleaning systems. Edgar Lop, head of the R&D team, discusses the development and improvement of cleaning systems for all printhead models, using the latest technologies. They test various solvents and inks to ensure effective cleaning, offering both products and recovery services to customers worldwide through an easy online process.

Sandra Chamorro, head of the chemical lab, talks about the importance of the People&Technology lab in ensuring that their fluids do not damage equipment. Sandra outlines three key services: compatibility testing to prevent equipment problems, fluid characterisation to understand fluid properties, and microscope services for analysing printheads.

Initially focused on internal applications, P&T now collaborate with other companies and head manufacturers like Seiko and Kyocera, ensuring that materials in contact with different types of inks/fluids do not cause damage before being introduced into equipment.
