Hymmen Celebrates Successful TechTogether@Hymmen Event
Finally in person again instead of digitally - this was Hymmen's motto when the company presented its technological innovations live to customers at its in-house exhibition in its own technical centre from Sept 27-29, 2021.
For this purpose, Hymmen, together with a group of dedicated machine and plant builders from OWL (East Westphalia-Lippe), decided to launch an alternative event format called "TechTogether - Woodworking Competence" to bring woodworking technology together with interested customers. The focus was on personal exchanges about technology, innovations, new developments and customer solutions supplemented by company-specific digital formats.
"During our participation in this year's TechTogether 2021 event format, we were positively surprised by the clear response and the high number of visitors - it was a great success," summarizes Dr. René Pankoke, managing partner of Hymmen. The company had three fulfilling days at the fair. There were about 100 guests from 10 European countries there to see the new developments in person.
There were live demonstrations of the SATURN Digital Printing Line for water-based digital printing on décor paper and the JUPITER Digital Printing Line with high precision transport for digital décor printing on board materials on UV basis. Customers were also able to see for themselves the DLEplus digital structuring process, the Calender Coating Inert (CCI) coating process and the proven double belt press technology with surface samples and graphics that demonstrated the production process.
A special attraction was the presentation by John Rietveldt, CEO of i4F and Dr. René Pankoke on market trends, technologies and their patent cooperation in the field of digital printing for flooring. And or the breaks it was catered for with a cold buffet lunch and coffee and cake in the afternoon.
Visitors agreed that the face-to-face meetings at such events are indispensable for the complex project business, even if digital formats can also be an enriching addition in the future.
