FuturePrint Q1 Results Reveal Year of Growth

In this article, we report results from 12 months of activity of building the FuturePrint Community during lockdown by running 4 large virtual events, publishing reports, surveys, hosting webinars, talks, and sharing over 100 articles.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, FuturePrint were the first to launch a virtual event to help the market connect during these difficult times. We did so to provide a focal point for people to connect with useful content, insight and innovations.

This purpose, we believe was particularly critical as all events were cancelled and live event organisers did not act.

Since June 2020, along with a series of popular webinars and virtual networking events, we have run 4 Significant Virtual Events from June 2020 to March 2021.

These are:

FuturePrint Virtual Summit June ‘20: 1,668 delegates (3 days)

FuturePrint Virtual Summit October ‘20:  4,035 delegates (5 days)

FuturePrint Virtual Conference February ‘21: 1,598 (2 days)

FuturePrint Leaders Summit March ‘21: 1,504 delegates (2 days)

318 Speakers

183 Sessions

Feedback from the market has been overwhelmingly positive.

85.29 % of delegates rated the events as very helpful to extremely helpful (average figure of 4 x events)

96.4% of delegates rated the events as good, very good, or excellent (average figure of 3 x events)

Who visits our events?

The FuturePrint community is a collaborative ecosystem of OEMs, brands, developers, integrators, technology businesses, print production businesses from across the spectrum of print and manufacturing.

During the pandemic, we have seen an acceleration in engagement and interest in FuturePrint and an intensification in demand for digital inkjet to add flexibility and performance for an under stress manufacturing model that was unable to meet this fast-changing demand.

FuturePrint.Tech  Reader Growth

Since March 2020 we have seen growth from 400 to 11,000 subscribers as the number of readers, event delegates and community members look for leadership and fresh insight into the future of printing.

2020: 313% growth on 2019

2021: 201% growth on 2020

In 2021, this equates to an average of 2,100 visits per month and 3,666 page views per month.

FuturePrint Tech Fest 29-30 June

The next major event is the FuturePrint Tech Fest taking place 29-30 June. This event is a technology-focused event for the technical community and will cover digitisation, digital print and inkjet technology. The past 12 months have been a period of rapid innovation as teams collaborate virtually to solve the challenges of meeting new demand. This event showcases these new developments.

FuturePrint Packaging Summit 29-30 September

There is an intensified interest in print technology for packaging as the past 12 months accelerates change and the need for flexibility and agility in production.
