New and More Diverse Attendee Profile
In contrast to live events, according to the event analytics, 45% were female and 53% of visitors came from 18-35 age group suggesting that the event attracted attendance from a more diverse mix of the global print community than is typical with live events. This is further borne out as an additional 1100 records from the event were new to FM Future. This gives the organisers useful insight in order to create a more balanced and diverse content programme for the next summit.
We think it also proves a point that while virtual events may not be a replacement to the live experience in its entirety, they do provide a unique value which is exciting, particularly as live trade shows and conferences struggle to run effectively in the next 6-12 months at least.
The FuturePrint Virtual Summit team, our marketing partner Bespoke, Principal Partners Ricoh and Integration Technology and all our FuturePrint Speakers and Partners wish everyone across the globe all the very best to push through this difficult time to be in the best of health.
